This policy explains how we handle the personal data of visitors to our website www.faktorzdravlje.com and what rights you have in relation to that data.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide to us yourself

On this page there is no form for contacting us, booking appointments or signing up to a newsletter, nor is there one anywhere else on this website. We do not ask you to enter your name, email address or any other personal data.

If you contact us by phone or email, we process the data you give us when doing so – your name, contact number or email address and the content of your message – solely in order to respond to your enquiry and arrange an appointment.

Data collected automatically

With every visit, our server records technical data: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, the address of the page requested and the page you came from. We keep these logs for the security and proper functioning of the website.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. We use two types:

  • Necessary cookies – these enable the basic functioning of the website and remember your cookie choices. They are set without your consent because the website cannot work without them.
  • Analytics cookies – these are used to measure website traffic. They are set only if you expressly accept them.

On your first visit, you are shown a banner on which you choose what you accept. Until you give your consent, analytics cookies are not set. You can change your choice at any time using the same banner, and you can delete cookies that have already been set in your browser settings.

4. Measuring website traffic

To measure website traffic, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, services provided by Google Ireland Limited. These tools record which pages were visited, for how long, from which device and from which country.

We use this data solely in aggregate form, to find out which content is useful to visitors. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give via the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

5. Content from other websites

Some pages contain content embedded from other services – for example, YouTube videos. When you open such a page, your browser connects to that service's server, and the service may record your IP address.

Our website also loads typefaces (fonts) from Google's servers, in the course of which your IP address is transmitted to Google.

These services are subject to their own privacy policies, over which we have no influence.

6. Security

The website uses a secure HTTPS connection, so traffic between your browser and our website is encrypted.

To protect against unauthorised access, we use a security system that records suspicious access attempts, including the IP addresses they come from. These records are used solely to protect the website.

7. How long we keep data

  • Technical and security server logs – for as long as is necessary for the security of the website, after which they are deleted.
  • Website traffic measurement data – a maximum of 14 months.
  • Enquiries sent by email – for as long as the communication lasts and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Cookies – according to the period stated for each cookie, up to a maximum of 12 months.

8. To whom data is disclosed

We do not sell your personal data, nor do we disclose it to third parties for marketing purposes.

The following have access to the data, to the extent necessary for the provision of the service:

  • the website hosting provider,
  • Google, as the provider of the website traffic measurement service.

Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area as part of Google's services, on the basis of the mechanisms provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation.

9. Your rights

With regard to your personal data, you have the right to:

  • request access to the data we process about you,
  • request rectification of inaccurate data,
  • request erasure of your data,
  • request restriction of processing,
  • raise an objection to processing,
  • request portability of your data,
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.

You can send your request to the email address given in section 1. We will respond within one month of receiving the request.

If you consider that our processing of your data infringes the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP)
Ulica Metela Ožegovića 16, 10000 Zagreb
Phone: +385 1 4609-000
Email: azop@azop.hr

Effective from 19 September 2026.
