Rotator cuff
The rotator cuff is often affected by disease processes, whether after trauma, through degeneration or through inflammation. It consists of four muscles: the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis. Of course, many other muscles also help stabilise the shoulder, such as the deltoid, biceps, teres major, rhomboids, serratus anterior, trapezius, levator scapulae and others. Shoulder rehabilitation is very complex and requires a specialist examination, diagnostics and rehabilitation. Contact your doctor or our doctors – specialist physiatrists – directly.
