Maitland
The Maitland concept is a manual therapy method that, through individual treatment, helps restore function to the musculoskeletal system. In joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerve structures that have been injured and/or damaged, the Maitland concept restores normal movement. It includes a clinical approach in line with international classifications and standards. What makes Maitland special is its individual approach, from the initial examination to mobilisation and manipulation of the spine and limbs. The Maitland concept uses neurodynamic techniques, muscle stretches, stabilisation exercises and specific adaptation techniques that the patient can ultimately do at home.
